Fashion Friday #1

ON WEYN

Yesterday, my boss remarked that I had been channeling the 80s lately. I was aiming for "shabby chic" but apparently I failed at it. Today, I tried to look ~effortless~, but my black leotards tucked underneath charcoal jodhpurs were very reminiscent of MC Hammer - not 80s; old school, nonetheless. I was also wearing a blue tube scarf around my neck, while my copper hair - which I cut upon waking up this morning - was ablaze from the stark contrast. I look a little old (and a tad wealthier) for my age, and I like it. I just really, really, really wish I had two more inches added to my legs.

Did you know this is the fourth hairstyle I've had in a span of five days? Oh, and you haven't seen the fifth.

ON ELLEN

Last night, a high school friend and I went to Westlife's Gravity Tour in Smart Araneta Coliseum. Since it's gonna be a long, sweaty night of singing and dancing with thousands of people, I wanted to be as comfortable as I can get. Comfortable but not too shabby-looking. I considered wearing a dress but that would only limit my movement, so in the end, I decided to wear for the first time this Alfred Dunner top given to me by my friend Anne over a year ago. She was able to buy it from an ukay-ukay in Alabang for only Php 20! I wore it with a pair of shorts and denim flats. At the end of the night, my feet were thanking me for sparing them, I was standing all through out the concert - standing on top of my seat for almost two hours! The only thing I did not anticipate was the top's fabric which made me sweat (ew, I know) a few minutes after the concert started - but other than that, I had a fabulous night!
